Internal Rings
A practical solution that keeps your fabric duct permanently inflated even when it is not in use.
The internal rings prevent unsightly drooping and thus ensure the perfect shape of the system at all times.
What benefits you will gain thanks to the internal rings?
What happens when the fan is switched off? Without the use of internal reinforcement, the duct will sag and lose its shape (picture left). But thanks to the internal rings, the duct will keep its shape, which will stay the same and will continue to look aesthetically pleasing.
Simply as if the air never stopped flowing (picture on the right, when the system is switched on).
Internal rings are not a must have for every system, but they are a smart additional feature. They help with aesthetics as well as practically, for example, they reduce the initial pressure "shock" when the system is started and thus protect the material from stress, which in the end extends the life of the system.
Technical details
The inner rings are made of 3 or 4 mm thick stainless steel and are suitable for systems with diameters from 200 mm to 1270 mm.
For smaller diameters up to 500 mm, we install them during production, so after delivery you just suspend the system. For larger systems, we supply them separately for easy self-installation - detailed instructions you can find above or on our YouTube channel.
The spacing between the rings is up to you - 500mm or 1000mm, depending on your project.
And when it's time for maintenance, it's easy to remove - the rings are held in place by Velcro, so removing them is a question of moments.
